Dates/Times
When is workshop?
The Lights, Camera, Yearbook! Summer Workshop is scheduled for June 6-7, 2024. Registration/Check-In begins on June 6 at 8am. The event will conclude on June 7 at 4pm.
Payment
What is the process for paying by check?
Please make your check payable to Jostens. Send payment to Kelly Salassi at 7900 Harmon Road, Powell, TN 37849. Full payment or purchase order must accompany registration forms. Payment must be received by May 10, 2024. Registration will be processed on a first come-first served basis. No unpaid reservations will be honored.
Can students pay online for their individual workshop fee?

Chaperones
Are parent chaperones welcome to attend?
Chaperones are welcome, but must be registered as an attendee and pay the registration fee. We will also need a medical release waiver on file for each chaperone in attendance.
Meals
Are meals included with our workshop registration fees?
June 6 includes lunch and dinner at the Belmont Dining Hall.
June 7 includes breakfast and lunch at the Belmont Dining Hall.
Dietary Needs
I have special dietary needs. Will there be options for me?
The Belmont Dining Hall has a vast array of options that will accommodate many dietary restrictions. See Simple Servings image for a list of all allergens Belmont accommodates.
If you have specific concerns or allergens not on the Simple Servings image, please reach out to your rep so that he/she can confer with Belmont regarding your specific needs/requests.
Parking
Where do we park?
Parking is included in your camp fee. All cars will need to park in the Curb Garage, located near the Maddox Hall dorms.
We are coming in a bus. Where do we park the bus?
If your group is traveling by bus, please let your rep know as we need to work with Belmont Security on your drop off point and on bus parking options
Safety
How can we ensure the safety of our students while on campus?
Each attendee will have their own keycard for access in and out of the building.
Packing
What does each attendee need to pack/bring with them?

Each attendee (including advisers) needs a signed medical release waiver on file.

If you are staying on campus, each attendee will need to bring their own pillow. (The university will provide bed sheets, wash cloths and and towels.)

Comfortable, casual summer wear.

Cash for snacks and incidentals.

Each attendee will need to bring their own personal laptop and camera.

Recommended: For anyone planning to join us for movie night, bring a picnic blanket for the lawn.
Planning

Extra/unsold copies of your 2024 yearbook for book exchange.

If you are signing up for a 2024 book critique, email Amey at amey.graybeal@jostens.com with your school and job number. Amey will get your book shared with Mitch Eden for critiquing. Email subject line should be: 2024 Book Critique.

Agenda
What can we expect to learn at workshop?
The agenda is filled with concept development, theme, design (beginning and advanced tracks available), copy and coverage, trends, Renaissance for Yearbook, photography, cover art sessions, staff work time, and so much more! We are excited to offer the opportunity for you to get tons of work done AND help your staff bond.
Cancellation
What is the cancellation policy and would we be refunded?
All registrations must be finalized by May 10th. No refunds will be issued after that date. However, the school may replace a yearbook staff member with another.
Late Registration
Can we register and pay after the May 10th registration deadline?
Late registration will be accepted May 11th-17th. All late registrations will incur a $25 per person late registration fee. Absolutely no registrations will be accepted after May 17th.
